Double Major and Minor Programs
With the Double Major Program,
• Students of the Department of Landscape Architecture can receive second undergraduate education in the Departments of Architecture, Interior Architecture and City, Regional and Urban Planning.
• Students of the Departments of Architecture, Interior Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning and Industrial Design can pursue a second major in our department.
In accordance with the ITU Undergraduate Programs Transfer, Double Major and Minor Programs Directive, students can apply for Double Major and Minor Programs during the summer semesters of the 3rd and 5th semesters of undergraduate education.
Those who have achieved between 30-59.99 credits can apply to the Double Major and Minor Programs in the 3rd semester, and those who have achieved between 60-94.99 credits can apply in the 5th semester. In order for the applications to be evaluated,
the student must have succeeded in the courses taken in the major undergraduate program, must have a weighted GPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00 at the time of application, and must be in the top 20% of the success ranking of the major program.
In order to apply for Minor Programs, the Weighted GPA must be at least 2.50 at the time of application.
