Ph.D. Program

To be eligible to submit a doctoral dissertation, the student must: Have at least one international scientific article derived from the dissertation research that has been published or formally accepted for publication in a journal indexed within the A1 category. The article must indicate Istanbul Technical University (ITU) as the student's institutional affiliation. Have presented a paper related to the dissertation research at an international conference.

During the doctoral studies, the student's total course credits must satisfy the following requirements:

a) At least 50% of the total credits must be earned from graduate-level courses offered by programs affiliated with the department in which the student is enrolled.

b) At least 30% of the total credits must be earned from courses taught in English.
