Education
The main teaching objectives of the Landscape Architecture programme are to prepare students for a professional career in landscape planning and design, human and natural sciences, landscape theory and practical vision through a well-founded programme. The curriculum is also supported by professional courses in landscape engineering (site planning) and construction, environmental management, drawing techniques and professional practice courses using relevant computer programmes. Emphasis is placed on students' problem-solving skills in the design process and the application of scientific research methods such as data collection, analysis and synthesis. Landscape Architecture students are educated in accordance with professional ethical values such as efficient use of resources, economic approach and social justice, as well as the protection of the social, historical and cultural environment.
