Hüseyin Ögçe is a landscape architect and research assistant in the Department of Landscape Architecture at Istanbul Technical University. His primary research interests include outdoor thermal comfort, the urban heat island effect, and visual landscape assessment. Ögçe earned his undergraduate degree in landscape architecture from Atatürk University in 2015 with honors. He earned his master's degree from Düzce University in 2020. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies in the Department of Landscape Architecture at Istanbul Technical University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Meltem Erdem Kaya. To date, he has published numerous research articles in academic journals indexed in Scopus and has participated in several research projects. He was a visiting scholar in the Microclimatic Design Lab at Texas A&M University in 2025.
