Landscape Design III (PEM 312E - CRN 20819) – “Energy Metamorphosis: Redefining Muğla’s Energy Landscape” will be conducted by Prof. Dr. Gülşen Aytaç @gulsenaytacc and Res. Assist. Lâl Dalay @l.dalay in the 2024-2025 Spring Semester.

This studio invites students to explore the transformation of Muğla’s energy landscapes, focusing on the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy systems. The project will examine how energy infrastructure interacts with nature, urban environments, and society, and how this transition can be integrated into landscape design. Students will analyze Muğla’s energy history and future potential, developing environmentally and spatially sustainable solutions. Through innovative and site-specific design strategies, students will propose new approaches that respect and enhance the region’s natural and cultural assets by integrating new energy solutions into urban park. Focusing on the question, "How can landscape architecture redefine Muğla’s energy landscape?", this studio encourages students to develop creative and sustainable energy-driven design solutions.
