Among 134 papers and 42 countries at the 39th eCAADe (Education and research in Computer Aided Architectural Design in Europe) conference at Novi Sad / Serbia, the paper, which is submitted by Sephr Vaez Afshar (ITU) @sepehrvafshar, Sarvin Eshaghi (ITU) @sarvin_es , Assoc. Prof. Güzden Varinlioğlu (IUE) and Özgün Balaban (DELFT), “Evaluation of Learning Rate in a Serious Game – Based on Anatolian cultural heritage” received the best presenter award (The Ivan Petrovic prize) with the presentation by Sepehr Vaez Afshar and Sarvin Eshaghi.

Among 134 papers and 42 countries at the 39th eCAADe (Education and research in Computer Aided Architectural Design in Europe) conference at Novi Sad / Serbia, the paper, which is submitted by Sephr Vaez Afshar (ITU) @sepehrvafshar, Sarvin Eshaghi (ITU) @sarvin_es , Assoc. Prof. Güzden Varinlioğlu (IUE) and Özgün Balaban (DELFT), “Evaluation of Learning Rate in a Serious Game – Based on Anatolian cultural heritage” received the best presenter award (The Ivan Petrovic prize) with the presentation by Sepehr Vaez Afshar and Sarvin Eshaghi. The paper presents one of the phases of the “Digital Caravanserai” project at MIT by Assoc. Prof. Güzden Varinlioğlu. The different stages of this study, which is about a computer game about Safavid caravanserais, received the best presentation award at the ASCAAD conference as well. The field studies of the project are supported by AKMED.

The aim of the programme is to train professionals and scientists who are self-renewing, who have adopted contemporary scientific and critical thinking, who can develop original ideas and have the ability to apply them, who produce for the sustainability of living spaces in different scales and contents by considering professional ethics and environmental sensitivity, and who are guiding and pioneering in the interdisciplinary lane.
