Prof. Gülşen Aytaç (PhD) graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Urban and Regional Planning and received her master's and doctorate degrees from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Landscape Architecture. In 2013, she received the American Society of Landscape Architects Honour Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the field of Landscape Architecture. Her areas of specialization are Landscape Design, Green Urbanism, Resilient Landscape Design, Playgrounds, and Urban Furniture. In 2005, she joined the ITU Department of Landscape Architecture where she is currently working as Professor
