‘Temporal Interfaces of Panormos’ re-interprets the port of Bandırma not as a fixed and defined territory, but as a dynamic process shaped by time, use, and coexistence. The project frames the shared ground between the port and the city as an “interface,” where urban life, ecology, and logistics overlap. Instead of fixed programs, it proposes temporary and flexible uses that adapt to daily, seasonal, and economic rhythms. Through this approach, the port is redefined not as a closed infrastructure, but as a living civic ground continuously shaped by its users and changing conditions.

The project is an outcome of the Fall 2025 Graduation Project ‘ Dialectics on Panormos: The Port and Beyond’ led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Erbaş Gürler, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Melih Bozkurt, Assoc.
